LV: Green Liberty (GL)
Green Liberty is a non-profit NGO founded in 1993. Its mission is to contribute to the development of a society where people live in harmony with each other and the environment. Green Liberty aims at raising awareness about social and environmental implications of current trends in consumerism, trade and globalization, empowering people to make meaningful decisions connected with their lives directly and indirectly and opposing abuses of power.

HU: Clean Air Action Group (CAAG)
Clean Air Action Group (CAAG) is one of the best-known non-governmental organizations in Hungary that deal with the protection of the environment. It was established in 1988. Its Experts’ Committee consists of 69 specialists of various professions. CAAG received the Hungarian Prize “NGO of the Year 2006”. CAAG’s main fields of activities are sustainable urban development, sustainable transport, sustainable energy policy, and greening the state budget and the EU budget. BG: Economic Policy Institute (EPI)
The Economic Policy Institute (EPI) is a non-partisan think tank working at the intersection of economy, public policy and global issues with outreach in Bulgaria and the wider CEE region. Founded in 1997, EPI’s core objectives are:
- to provide an independent evaluation of economic policy and of programs and projects carried out by public and private organizations;
- to contribute to exploiting the full potential of the Bulgarian economy by increasing its competitiveness and improving the efficiency of the country’s public institutions;
- to support the application of good governance principles and encourage citizen participation in decision-making and public policy-making;
- to offer alternative and innovative solutions to the problems faced by organizations, institutions and companies related to changes in the international economy, the activities of international integration communities, the challenges of sustainable development, the processes of digital transformation and industrial transition;
- to develop and disseminate expertise in these areas to a wide range of stakeholders, including students and young people, at national, regional and international level.

PL: Institute for Sustainable Development Foundation (ISD)
The Institute for Sustainable Development (ISD) is a non-governmental think-tank type organisation that was founded in 1990 on the initiative of a few members of the Polish Ecological Club. ISD works for the promotion and implementation of the principles and solutions which contribute to Poland’s sustainable development.
In its activities, the Institute is guided by its mission to:
- build positive relations between socio-economic development and environmental protection;
- act in the interest of the present and future generations.

SI: Umanotera (Umanotera)
Umanotera, The Slovenian Foundation for Sustainable Development, has been the leading NGO in the field of sustainable development in Slovenia since its beginning in 1995. During this time, it has systematically, cohesively and continuously promoted the themes of sustainable development and has independently and in cooperation worked on more than 130 projects. Since 2010 Umanotera has also the status of a non-governmental organization (NGO) acting in the public interest in the field of environmental protection (granted by the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning) and in 2017, it was registered in the records of research organizations. EU: European Environmental Bureau (EEB)
The European Environmental Bureau (EEB) is the largest inclusive network of environmental citizens’ organisations in Europe. It currently consists of over 160 member organisations in more than 35 countries (all EU Member States plus some accession and neighbouring countries), including a growing number of European networks, and representing some 30 million individual members and supporters. The EEB has a long track record of working together in coalitions of civil society to promote progressive environmental policy and its implementation in the EU at EU and Member State levels.

RO: Focus Eco Center (FEC)
Focus Eco Center is an environmental non-governmental organization promoting sustainable development. It was founded in 1994 by an enthusiastic group (consisting of teachers, engineers, lawyers) interested in the questions of environment protection in Tg. Mures. It is a member of the European Environmental Bureau (EEB). Focus Eco Center was involved in several national and international projects concerning climate change and environmental protection. It is member of several committees at the level of the Region Central Transylvania and Mures county and as well in the Mures River basin Committee.
